Fungi

If you are standing on grass, it’s almost certain that you’re standing on a fungus, and I don’t mean your tonails. Fungal mycelium is a vast living network that grows in the ground, in trees, and in and/or on some insects and other animals. Some produce fruits known as mushrooms, and these can be delicious, or they can make you sick or even kill you if you don’t know what to look for.
